Day 0 - It's on...  

We have finally arrived onto the Ross Ice Shelf. The flight over here was unbelievable. We got to see parts of the planet that have rarely ever been seen by any other human being.

We arrived and immediately set up camp. Tomorrow we begin moving.

I spent some time in the tent mumbling out loud to myself to get my tent systems in order.

It will take a day or two to get all our systems running smoothly.

In the meantime, I'm sitting outside my tent lounging around soaking in the most epic view.

I can't say it enough, but it is such a privilege to be out here. It is heavenly...
