Welcome back to “Our Journey Into the Human Experience.”
Summer has started. This is an exciting time. Some of you are out of school, and for others your kids are out of school. Or perhaps you are working hard as always to make more money and grow your business. If you fall into that last category, I know what it’s like. As of now, I am right there with you.
But one of the greatest things you can do in your business is take a break and get some time off to go an adventure. Having just returned from a few weeks off in Europe and California, I found that it rejuvenated me and reignited the fire within me to work on my business.
Now you don’t have to travel to Europe to experience adventure, you can find it in your own backyard. Sometimes, you just have to look a little harder to find it.
My guest today is a man who has devoted his life to adventure. He finds adventure in everything he does and as a result he is living a higher quality of life than most. His ability to draw fun and excitement out of any endeavor allows him to experience all that life has to offer. Benjamin Jenks runs the site Adventure Sauce, where he helps people “live, work and travel like adventurers.”
Benjamin has hitchhiked 23,000 miles across the entire United States, stayed in the homes of 72 different people while doing it and then created a viral YouTube video documenting his experience.
Whether you embrace the idea of hitchhiking across the country or not, you will learn a lot from Benjamin’s spirit of adventure. We could all use a bit more adventure in our lives. It gets us out of our comfort zone and immerses in the unknown. And out there beyond the security of what we are accustomed to, we discover our ability to push far beyond our conceived limits.
As a result of the confidence he has gained from pushing himself on adventures all across the country, Benjamin now uses the skills he has learned to help other develop their confidence. His confidence coaching program provides the insight people need to develop an unstoppable mindset.
So if you are looking to develop that mindset or if you want even just 1% more adventure and excitement in your life, be sure to check out today’s episode of “Our Journey into the Human Experience,” with Benjamin Jenks:

Hey terrific blog! Does running a blog like this take a lot of work?
I have no knowledge of programming however I had been hoping to start my own blog in the near future.
Anyways, should you have any ideas or tips for new blog owners
please share. I know this is off topic nevertheless I simply wanted to ask.
Cheers!
Hi Walter. It does take work to run a blog, but you don’t need to be a programmer. I don’t have any skills in that area, but there are many cheap ways to navigate through those obstacles. I would love to help you build your blog. Please feel free to contact me when you are ready to get started with it. Thanks Walter. Looking forward to connecting with you soon!
