as seen in

My goal as a speaker is not to motivate your audience for a moment, but to create mindset shifts that inspire them for a lifetime. Whether you are a corporation, school, college, or conference, it would be my honor to work with you to create lifelong transformations at your next event.
A LITTLE ABOUT AKSHAY
After overcoming drug addiction, post traumatic stress disorder, and alcoholism that pushed me to the brink of suicide, I have since dedicated myself to a path of mastery and service. Today, I am a US Marine veteran, ultra-runner, explorer, speaker, entrepreneur and author of the book “Fearvana: The Revolutionary Science of How to Turn Fear Into Health, Wealth and Happiness.” About the book, The Dalai Lama said “Fearvana inspires us to look beyond our own agonizing experiences and find the positive side of our lives.”
I have often been in environments that require me to operate at my very best or risk losing my life. I am committed to bringing that level of performance to your event.
I have presented to audiences all over the world in multiple settings and contexts, from middle schools to colleges to fortune 500 companies.
Using inspiring stories, engaging humor, proven material based on years of research in neuroscience, psychology and spirituality and most importantly actionable takeaways I will deliver a presentation that will linger with your audience long after they leave the room.
From my perspective, learning does not occur unless there is behavior changes. As such, my mission is to create lifelong transformation for your audience, and I have spent years figuring out how to do just that.
Beyond just the stage, I am also committed to creating a smooth and enjoyable working relationship. I know that it takes a lot of hard work and effort to organize the logistics of an event, so I will make the process as easy as possible for you.

SPEAKING TOPICS
Below are some of the core topics Akshay speaks about. His formats include short presentations, keynotes, and workshops ranging from one hour to all day. He works with audiences of all ages and all sizes.
No matter which topic you choose, every talk he gives will be modified and customized directly to the needs of your audience. Here are his most requested speaking topics…
The paradox of happiness: Why everything we think we know about happiness is wrong and how to actually find it
At the core of everything we do is the desire to be happy, to be fulfilled, but what does that really mean? Why is that despite our collective progress as a species, we still haven’t figured out how to truly improve the day to day content of our lives?
In this talk, Akshay will break down years of research and real-world life experience on the very edges of the human condition, to reveal what it really takes to create a life of lasting bliss. Bringing true joy into your life will radically improve productivity, output, results and most of all your life experience.
The gift of suffering: How to develop mental toughness and turn your pain into unstoppable power
Individually and collectively within organizations, we all experience pain at some point. Either life will inflict it upon us, or we will inevitably be forced to face adversity on our chosen path to success. Suffering is not inherently enjoyable, so most of us run from it and do everything we can to avoid it. But if we don’t seek out a worthy struggle, struggle will find us anyway. We can either let it destroy us or leverage it as a source of power to build us up into someone stronger and better.
In this talk, Akshay will share his lifetimes worth of experiences transcending pain and darkness in a variety of forms. By the end, you will have a proven path for finding light within darkness and transforming struggle into indestructible strength.
Courage demands fear: The myth of being fearless and how to turn your fears into fuel to awaken your inner fire
“Don’t be scared.” “Be fearless.” “No fear.” “The only thing to fear is fear itself.” “There are only two ways of being: Fear and love.” How often have you heard fear framed as the enemy? The reality is, fear is not our enemy. It is the fear of fear that creates real harm and destruction, for courage cannot exist unless there is fear. Fear is an access point to our greatest strength, to our highest virtue, to the most legendary version of ourself.
In this talk, Akshay will take you on an epic journey into the throes of fear. From having confronted it in every way, from 7 days in darkness to climbing mountains to walking in front of vehicles looking for bombs in a war zone, he has mastered fear. He will now show you and your audience how to not just to become comfortable with fear, but to seek it and to love it. For as he says, “never stop chasing fear, or you’ll spend your whole life running from it.” When you harness it, fear will be your greatest ally to uncover the riches waiting for you inside your spirit.
The brutally beautiful path to greatness: How to systematically and consistently create victory after victory in any area of your choosing
We’ve all heard it before, “you can be whatever you want to be.” “We all have greatness inside of us.” It sounds great. But why is it then that so many people never truly tap into the limitlessness of the human potential that lives within us all? The fact of the matter is the path to greatness is not as rosy as it sounds. It isn’t filled with sunshine, rainbows and unicorns. Sure, you might see some of them along the way. But more often than not, you will be enveloped by darkness, chased by demons and ravaged by monsters.
These dark forces do not come at you from without, they come at you from within. But they are not your enemy. There is immense beauty in confronting your demons and going to war with yourself. In this counterintuitive, unconventional and perhaps even controversial talk, Akshay will break down what it really takes to unleash your inner greatness. He will show you the raw, hard-hitting truth about striving for a summit and earning your victories.
Born to explore: Why we MUST venture into the unknown and how to turn life into a grand, epic adventure
In a world of comfort, safety and excess, so many of us have lost touch with the drive to explore. We keep ourselves confined within the walls of our own self imposed prison. We think that’s what we need to stay secure and happy. It is no one’s fault. This way of being is hard wired into our evolutionary constructs. Yet paradoxically, we are also wired to explore and seek novelty in the uncomfortable unknown. Which path we choose, the path of comfort, or the path of adventure, will determine our fate. One path will keep us forever trapped into a life of mediocrity, boredom and quiet desperation. The other will expose us to hidden treasures the likes of which we cannot even fathom from the lens of our current reality.
Should we heed the call to adventure, bravely set forth beyond all we know and venture out into unchartered territories, we will ignite an inner fire that awakens the true gift that is this human experience. In this talk, Akshay will share his many adventures in the most hostile and unforgiving environments on the planet. By pulling from his own real world experience, he will give your audience a roadmap to a path of adventure, fulfillment and lasting bliss.
Our team would love to connect with you personally to learn more about your needs so we can tailor something specific to your goals.
