In the last two months, I have skied across the second largest icecap in the world, witnessed a pride of lions feeding on a wildebeest and cage dived with great white sharks.
Life continues to offer grand and wonderful experiences that allow me to reshape my outlook to the world.
With each new opportunity, I am further convinced of the fact that every single moment has something to teach us. The world beyond us is an endless pool of knowledge. The choice is ours whether or not we take from it to grow or let the moment pass us by.
Even as you sit in front of your computer now and read this, you are getting something out of it. It may be positive or negative, but by being aware of the control you have over this space in time, you become empowered to make a choice. To choose what you gain from it.
In the coming days I will share the details from my journeys by placing them in a context of the overall decisions we make every day in our life. It is my intention that these transformational experiences in nature serve as analogies to the life we all live in civilization. I would love to hear your thoughts about whether or not this method has been of value to you.
I will begin tomorrow by sharing some of my general philosophies on traveling before proceeding onward to the first step of my polar expedition across the icecap in Greenland.
Until then, I have posted two pictures from my most recent adventure outside my comfort zone.
